Cookie Policy

Our cookie policy and how we use them

Effective Date: January 1, 2025

This Cookie Policy explains how CondoVerify, LLC uses cookies and similar technologies on our websites, apps, and online services (Services). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

By clicking Accept on our banner or continuing to use the Services after seeing the banner, you agree to the storing of cookies and similar technologies as described here (unless you adjust settings or opt out where available).

1) What are cookies and similar technologies?

  • Cookies are small text files placed on your device to store/remember information.
  • Local storage & session storage store data in your browser for persistence or a single session.
  • SDKs (mobile apps) and device identifiers (e.g., IDFA, AAID) provide similar functionality.
  • Pixels/web beacons help measure opens, visits, conversions, and ad performance.

2) Why we use them (categories & purposes)

Note: Some state laws may treat certain analytics/ads cookies as a sale or share of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. See Section 7 (Your choices).

3) Specific cookies & SDKs we may use

The exact set can vary over time. Below are common examples:

Strictly Necessary

  • __cf_bm, cf_clearance (Cloudflare) – bot management, security, load performance
  • sessionid / sid (CondoVerify) – session authentication
  • csrf_token (CondoVerify) – request forgery protection

Performance/Analytics

  • amplitude_id_* (Amplitude) – product analytics
  • sentrysid (Sentry) – error monitoring

  • gcl_* (Google Ads) – conversion tracking

We do not publicly store full payment card numbers. Payment processing cookies/SDKs may be set by our PCI-compliant processor solely to complete transactions.

4) How long cookies stay on your device (retention)

  • Session cookies expire when you close your browser.
  • Persistent cookies stay until their set expiration (e.g., 24 hours to 24 months) or you delete them.

Typical durations:

  • Strictly Necessary: session → 1 year
  • Performance/Analytics: 24 hours → 24 months
  • Functional: 30 days → 12 months
  • Advertising/Targeting: 90 days → 24 months

Actual lifetimes may vary by vendor and version.

5) Managing your preferences

You have several options:

1. Cookie Banner / Preferences Center

Use the Cookie Settings link in our footer (or banner) anytime to enable/disable non-essential categories. Choices take effect prospectively.

2. Browser & Device Controls

  • Block or delete cookies via your browser settings.
  • Use private/incognito modes to limit storage.
  • Reset your mobile advertising ID (IDFA/AAID) in device settings and limit ad tracking.

3. Platform & Industry Opt-Outs

  • YourAdChoices: https://youradchoices.com/
  • NAI: https://optout.networkadvertising.org/
  • Google Ads: https://adssettings.google.com/
  • Meta: https://www.facebook.com/adpreferences/ad_settings

Disabling certain cookies may impact functionality (e.g., staying signed in, saving preferences, generating reports).

6) Global Privacy Control (GPC) & Do Not Track

  • Global Privacy Control (GPC): Where required by applicable law (e.g., California), if your browser sends a valid GPC signal, we will treat it as a request to opt out of sale/share for the device/browser sending the signal.
  • Do Not Track (DNT): Industry standards are not uniform, so we do not respond to DNT signals.

7) U.S. State Privacy Disclosures (Sale/Share; Targeted Ads)

Some states (e.g., CA/CPRA, CO, CT, UT, VA) define certain analytics/advertising uses of cookies as a sale or share of personal information or targeted advertising. To exercise these rights:

  • Use our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information link in the footer.
  • Use the Cookie Settings to disable Advertising/Targeting (and, if you wish, Performance/Analytics).
  • Enable GPC in your browser (where supported).

We do not sell your direct identifiers (e.g., name, email, phone).

8) International notes (EEA/UK)

If you access from the EEA/UK, we obtain consent for non-essential cookies via our banner/consent management platform (CMP). You can withdraw consent at any time via Cookie Settings. Data may be transferred to the U.S.; see our Privacy Policy for transfer safeguards.

9) Changes to this Cookie Policy

We may update this Policy to reflect changes in law, technology, or our practices. We will post the new Effective Date at the top. Material changes may be highlighted in the banner or on this page.
